Assistant Coach

My passion started with nutrition about 12 years ago. I was a stay at home mom feeling depleted, out of energy, felt edgy and I struggled with my weight. I saw many doctors and tried to address my issues to no avail. I finally sat down and took matters into my own hands and decided to start my own healing journey. I was intrigued with holistic medicine and decided that was the route I wanted to take with my health. I did my research and found a school that specialized in this very subject and I became a Certified Holistic Nutrition Coach. I educated myself and was able to change my old habits, include some new and improved ones and ended up healing most of the main issues I suffered from, all through holistic nutrition practices. This new information sparked my new journey into fitness. I had done the work internally and was feeling good, but I then wanted to do the work externally and both look and feel strong.

I sought an amazing trainer at the time, and she was empowering to me. She helped me sort through my struggles and helped me find my balance not only with my health, but with myself. Training became a profound experience for me and I learned firsthand that it is a metaphor of life. Through my own personal experience, the seed of helping others has been embedded in me. I now pass this experience on to my clients. My goal as a personal trainer/nutrition coach is to empower you with information and tools needed to be successful on your journey to optimum health. It is a privilege to be a part of someone’s journey and it is important to empower others to feel their very best.
